Matt DeSantos

Matt DeSantos has worked in the insurance and financial services industry for over 27 years. He has been President of GLP Financial Group since September of 2017, and is responsible for leading strategy, driving business and building effective teams across the GLP family of companies. Matt’s extensive knowledge comes from working in numerous leadership positions for a variety of life insurance and financial service organizations. His career accomplishments include leading teams to meet and exceed both their sales and financial goals, growing life and annuity business through independent marketing organizations as well as developing new markets, overseeing marketing support functions and establishing internal sales support and new business development initiatives. Matt holds a Juris Doctorate, Law from the University of Baltimore School of Law, as well as a BA, Political Science and Government from Stonehill College. Matt resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his family.
